So I saw that democratics had some historical and windsweeping wins. I'm happy about that. I don't want to leave America and I'd love to transition in a little bit, long as people won't hurt me and my people.

I'll probably use a surrogate to have a baby. I want to be a father but I don't want to experience childbirth and labor and such even though prospects say I should have a decent pregnancy and birth. My problem is I'm almost 40, I don't want a child with autism. Don't get me wrong, I love autistic children. I have an austitic nephew, an autistic brother but I'd rather not impose that kinda life on a child because of my aging body. So hopefully my eggs are okay and I can use a sperm donor.

I'm currently in the middle of reading Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman. It's okay so far, I do like it but I'm a little upset there isn't more dialogue and such. There's so much telling and not enough showing. Even though I'm guilty of being a teller writer myself. I loved the movie though and I'm kinda miffed they didn't make the movie somewhat the same as the book. Michael was the love of Sally's life but at the same time, he was a footnote in the book to the bigger story, which is the sisters. I'm on page 90 so far. It's starting to heat up.

I know you're happy about the wins, but I do find it really startling that Democrats ally with Islamic extremists like Zohran Mamdani (the mayor-elect of New York City), and the lieutenant governor-elect of Virginia is as well (and the attorney general elect actually said he would like to kill Republicans and their supporters), and Muslims actually hold gay and trans people in way lower regard, and if Islamic fundamentalists were to take over America, you would actually be one of the first to die, and Muslim grooming gangs are a huge problem in countries like Great Britain and other countries that have open-border policies. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an Islamophobe (there are a lot of horrible Jews and Christians as well). It was really more due to the shutdown than anything else, I think.
