Date: 2025-12-26 10:27 am (UTC)First of all, I wish you a successful & healthy & wonderful new year (Even though we are still a few days away from 2026, it is right around the corner :D.)!!
With the book goal, I know over here we have these public little libraries (?), as in, a shelf or something along those lines in a more or less public space where you can bring & get books to/from for free. :) Maybe this could be an idea of saving money, or joining a library in your area, if that's something you could do. Some libraries also offer stuff like DVDs for movies and series to borrow. :)

Date: 2025-12-26 07:36 pm (UTC)And my problem is mobility. I also don't care for ebooks too much. I'd much rather have a physical copy. I have a library card, but no way to borrow books. I don't know how I would get there either lmao I'll have a wheelchair soon though, so we'll see. Hopefully I can visit a library once a week and check out a bunch of books. Let me look into it. <3
